Happy New Year 2014 in Ohio!

Happy New Year!!  It will be a great year because it just will be and because I said so.  Everyone is doing well.  We are having a great day.  We've been so blessed and Ohio has been a nice place to live.  We've been here for 19 months and have found many great places and met wonderful people we now call friends.

Isaac is still working at Wright State University and in fact he just returned from Australia where they were collecting insects in Brisbane. We sure did miss him most of December.  He was gone from the 3rd and got home on the 21st.
I'm doing alright and am enjoying my sons and just making sure I don't miss a thing of their childhood.  I am chef, housekeeper, launderer, taxi driver, activities planner, financial assistant, shopper, and my job list goes on.
Dylan is 9 and loves to read, play basketball, build Lego's, play Pokemon, learning the guitar, playing with his brother's (sometimes), and other things.
Jonathan is 4 and likes everything his older brother likes and crafting, painting, drawing, and sleeping.
Matthew is 19 months old and is joyful to be around.  He doesn't talk yet but makes cute grunting sounds and facial expressions only a mama would love.
This year we hope Isaac get's a job.  His job here is temporary.  We have family goals.  I'm not one who makes resolutions.  I haven't had a new year resolution in years.  I avoid them because I am my worst critic and if I don't reach it I feel terrible.  I feel like a loser.  It was discouraging so I stopped making them and now I set goals.  Goals change as I change and evolve throughout the year.  I don't set too many goals all at once.  Instead, I set short term goals and maybe 1 or 2 long term goals and I stay away from the "Lose weight" goal and just ...hmmm. It's everyday that I am conscious about my weight.  Why wouldn't I be?  I mean, I'm the one who carries it and I'm the one to stand in front of a mirror and I'm the one that it should matter to the most.  Okay, off that soap box now.
Anyway, I have things I'd like to do and this year will be a great time to do things old, new, creative, adventurous, challenging, and worth while.  This post is late but I got it down.  Hoping everyone has a great year ahead!!!Aloha!
