Lookout Mountain Nature Center, Denver February 18, 2012

We all went to "Lookout Mountain Nature Center" for part of the day.  It's outside of Denver and a nice, small center where the boys could see part of the city of Denver down below.  There was a nature guide there who talked to us about the animals that they see up there during the different seasons.  

The boys were able to see some animal exhibits that taught us about the animal, what they eat, where they lived or came from and how big they were etc.  I had a fun time learning about the different animals.

They also had a little play room where the kids could discover bones, rocks, fossils and color pictures.

It was cold too outside!

 We had a good, happy family outing and mom was feeling good even though she was 6 mos. pregnant.  No sickness until we had to drive down the mountain.
